the conditions for participation in the voting districts voting set up abroad and Polish ships in the election of the Polish President, ordered on the day June 20, 2010

the National Electoral Commission, in connection with the election of the Polish President, zarzÄ…dzonymi as at 20 June 2010, recalls the conditions for participation in the vote in the voting districts established abroad and on Polish ships.

rules to vote in the election of the President of the Polish Republic, including circuits Voting set up abroad and Polish ships are set by the Law of 27 September 1990 on the selection of the Polish President (Journal of Laws of 2000 No. 47, item. 544, as amended. amended).

Law vote (the right to elect) in the election of the Polish President has a Polish citizen who:

• has not been incapacitated by a final court decision,
• has not been deprived of electoral rights by a final decision of the Court State.

I. Voting abroad. 

vote on a proposal for inclusion on the roll of voters.

voter permanently residing abroad, and a voter permanently residing in Poland, and temporarily residing abroad to participate in the vote should be submitted to the competent consul for the inclusion of voters in the circuit set up abroad.

Applications for registration of voters in the circuit formed abroad comprises orally, in writing, by telephone, telegram, fax or email. The application shall comprise:
• surname and first names,
• father's name, date of birth •

• address the voters in the country (for persons residing temporarily abroad) or address voters abroad (in relation to persons domiciled abroad),
• valid Polish passport number, place and date of issue.
In countries where the national identity card is sufficient document for crossing the border, in place of the number of valid Polish passport, you can specify the number of valid proof of identity.

Applications for registration of voters in the circuit formed abroad made up no later than the third day before election day, ie until 17 June 2010

WARNING!
persons entered in the roll of voters in the polling district established abroad will be included in the electoral roll even when carrying out re-vote (the second round of elections). Taking part in the vote on a circuit, including the place of residence will be possible only after receiving the certificate from the Consul of the right to vote. Polling

vote abroad created by the Minister of Foreign Affairs by way of regulation, which is published in the Official Gazette of the Polish Republic. The list of those voting wards will be available at all Polish consular offices, delegations of the National Electoral Office and on the website of the National Electoral Commission www.pkw.gov.pl. 

voter will receive a certificate of the right to vote on the first vote and the right to vote on the re-vote.

If you perform a re-vote elector changing place of residence after the first vote, and vote before you can obtain a certificate of right to vote on the re-vote. Application for such certificate shall be filed on the first ballot at the office of the municipality in which the voter is included on the electoral roll, but no later than the second day before the second round of voting, ie, until 2 July 2010

II. Voting in the voting districts created by Polish ships

Polling vote for Polish ships created by the Minister Infrastructure by way of regulation, which is published in the Official Gazette of the Polish Republic. A list of these circuits, the vote will be available in all delegations of the National Electoral Office and on the website of the National Electoral Commission www.pkw.gov.pl.
